Ok, so im definitely not the type to do neat bondo/fiberglass work. or anything artistic. or anything that requires neatness (main reason im afriad of trimming fenders)

There was a small hole in the floor, and 2 small holes on my drivers side rocker panel. so due to lack of funds i decided to get rid of the rust, and fiberglass the holes. (once its all dry ill try a thin layer of bondo then primer+rust paint) and i wanna get the pinch weld up past the rocker panel and to the the body line line-x'ed

The floor turned out fine, got rid of the rust/paint and got a bare metal surface to work with. Used a little to much hardener and it dried extremly fast. But its hard as a rock so i guess thats good. no more water rushing into the interior through ponds :badteeth:

The rocker panel was a mess. After getting rid of the rust i mixed the resin/hardener and i aaccidently skimped on the hardener. 2 hours later its all patched up and its still goo-ey.
I am out of hardener praying that if i pick some up tomoro and slap it all over the spot it will dry up and harden.( or just be dry in the morning)

I HATE FIBERGLASS!! its such a pain in the ass, anyway sorry for the rant. anyone else have troubles with fiberglass?

I've never been able to master body work. Regardless of the material or how much time I spend on it, it turns into a mess.

So, for me, I just never let thing get to the point of needing body work. That is with the exception of our Caravan. That's gotten away from me and will be having someone else take care of it.

I feel for ya and good luck finishing it up.
